Accommodation at the recently set up sportsmen hotel of the Revall inn Vilnius (30 EUR per person). The distance from ice hall is only 10 min. by shuttle.
It is also possible to choose other hotel. You can write to vz@curling.lt If necessary, the Organiser can book a hotel for you.

West Swedish Curling Association ChampionshipInvitation
The West Swedish Curling Association,Would like to invite your team to The West Swedish curling Championships 12 – 14 September 2008!
Where and when?
12 – 14 of September 2008 in a small a beautiful town on the Swedish west coast called Vänersborg (about 1 hour by car from Göteborg).
Accommodations?
The best way to get to Vänersborg from outside <country-region w:st="on"><place w:st="on">Sweden</place></country-region> is to fly to Göteborg (Gothenburg). You can easily go by buss or by train from Gothenburg to Vänersborg.
Hotel?
The player’s hotel is not decided jet but we will let you know what alternatives there is before the end of June.
How many spots available?
Maximum of 32 teams.
Entry fee?
2 000 Swedish kronor (about 215 Euro) including a big Saturday night party!
Rules?
Every game will be played with six ends and four games are guaranteed for each team. Every team will be playing all three days no matter what.
Saturday night party?
We will of course arrange a big and friendly party that will include some kind of dinner. The party will be held at Saturday night, probably on the player’s hotel but this will be decided later on.
Price ceremony?We will have a big closing ceremony including a big price cermoney.
This tournament fits all kind of teams, from elite players to newcomers and other! We can promise you that you will have lots of fun in <country-region w:st="on"><place w:st="on">Sweden</place></country-region> and Vänersborg in September.

The Welsh Curling Association Bonspiel Committee invites you to enter a rink in its 29th. International Bonspiel to be held at Greenacres Curling Club on October 24th./ 25th. & 26th. 2008. The Bonspiel will be limited to 24 rinks 2 ladies & 2 men playing alternately.
We are proposing a slight change to the format over the weekend. The first session on the 24th. will be earlier at 3.00 p.m. and the second session to start at 5.30 p.m. (finishing at 7.45 p.m.) with a new Welcoming Party including complementary wine and a plate of stovies starting at 7.45 p.m. for all competitors, to allow those going to the hotel up to 9.15 p.m. to get there if they wish to have dinner. There will be a full meal service at Greenacres through to 9.30 p.m. if they wish to stay there.
The package and prices are as follows:-
· 2 nights bed & breakfast at Bowfield Hotel or Uplawmoor Hotel. · 4 game (minimum) of curling guaranteed followed by final play-offs for top six teams. · Welcome Party at Greenacres on Friday evening. · Glenfarclas Single Malt Whisky Cocktail Party followed by four course dinner dance at Greenacres on Saturday evening. · Shuttle service available throughout the weekend between curling club and hotels. · All in price—£150.00 per head staying at Bowfield Hotel £140.00 per head staying at Uplamoor Hotel (assuming two are sharing twin / double room), single supplement may apply. · Price excluding curling—£105.00 or £95.00 respective of which Hotel staying at per head. · Ice only and Dinner Dance—£65.00 per head. · Dinner Dance only—£ 30.00 per head. · Curling only—£35.00. per head.
The Bonspiel will be run in two sections on a Schenkel System. There will be a game for each section on Friday afternoon / evening, two games on Saturday and one game on Sunday followed by the finals. J & G Grant of Glenfarclas are again generously sponsoring the Bonspiel Prizes and will be holding a Glenfarclas Whisky Tasting on the Saturday evening prior to the Dinner Dance.
